it was a nonvanilla game about this size, with a few different factions and a number of twists, and some other ones that didnt really come off. Fircoal won as a serial killer.
heh heh heh heh

meh, the movie misses a lot of the book's awesomeness. Having a schitzophrenic narrator rules. I loved how all of his hallucinations are metaphorical, yet he sees them literally... and as the story progresses, you can tell when he's getting better or regressing, based on how he describes the world around him. The Chief is just a bit-player in the movie, but he makes the book, for me.

Books > movies, always.

Proof: any book made into a movie, I Am Legend being a great contemporary example. Great book, so-so movie.

The movie is terrible. His Dark Materials trilogy on the other hand is brilliant. They ruined the movie by making it too PC

With one exception:
The book Mary Poppins does absolutely nothing for me, however I love the movie with Julie Andrews and Dick VanDyke. 8)

the game will start after we sit around for a week discussing books versus movies, waiting for some people to find free time.

One of the annoying things about books being ruined by the movie is this: someone sees the movie first, and likes it... I'm wary about recommending the book to them, even though the book is better, because after seeing the movie their whole perception of the story is ruined, therefore damaging the potential of the book.

For the record, I cant stand pretentious WANKERS who seem to delight in telling people "Oh, its not as good as the book, you know".
No, I dont know, but that was a fucking good film, they are two different art forms and get yourself blown off before its too late.

I prefered the book version to this post.
