in light of the fact you saw my vote, it's obvious you don't need color to make the votes stand out. and its not a silly thread at all. I am completley serious, as is eveyrone else posting there saying this colored vote thing has gotten out of hand. case in point, you don't know if someone voted deep red or brown, they're too similiar... are you going to check the coding for each post to make sure?

Wicked, you are being ridiculous. Let people settle that in the thread you made. You are hardly suffering abuse. Gosh, I can't believe I'm telling this to a mod

No.. we view the issue differently, in fact i counted ditocoafs vote earlier because he tried to and had some computer issues. Since you are doing it just because you dont feel like it, i will not count the votes.

I spend time doing a number of different things trying to make the game as fun as possible for all of the players. While the little differences seem silly to you (and perhaps they are) i happen to like the choices ive made and in your case especially (since it apparently will be done as an act of protest instead of a mistake -which i would happily count your vote had you put it in brown but forgot to bold it) they will not be counted.

If you or someone else slides dark red by me instead of brown...i suppose ill just have to live with the consequence.

Vote Ditocoaf
Since he said he'd jump any bandwagon, this will be easier if he votes for himself with all of us.

we can debate this in te other thread, but you and other mods have made voting a PITA and it's impossible to keep up and differentiate between games.

If you dont like the colour, dont join the game, GT didnt force you, so just put up with it. It is not a major inconvinience IMO anyway.
Guys I am intentionally lurking. Discuss; Play mafia, it is good.

Well the town has a few easy lynches set up for the next few days. Unfortunately those lynches will probably get the town nowhere. So my contribution to get the game going will be to vote for kiwi. If he doesn't see anything to comment on then he's not going to be useful, also there's a good chance that he is skimming.

In light of the fact that mindlessly enforcing arbitrary rules is your bread and butter, I think that you are being a bit hypocritical here.

You just admitted you'd jump on ANY bandwagon?!?

Sounds to me like you are not being too cautious as to who gets lynched.
I agree with you there Nark. unvote vote Ditocoaf because I believe him to be the SK.
Why SK, specifically?
Because Scums are a group and they tend to lay low. SK's are more like natural disasters, trying to wipe as many people out as quickly as possible. Because of this, Ditocoaf's behavior looks SK to me (and since we're playing Asylum Mafia, I imagine that there should be at least one present  )

Crap, that was an unfortunate bit of hyperbole on my part. Of course I wouldn't lynch someone that was probably innocent, but at that point, the most important thing was to get some information. But since GT extended the deadline, it's not urgent anymore, so that statement is no longer true.

Okay, I've caught up on my reading... at least the bandwagon isn't as bad as I feared it might be. What I meant by the statement, is that under the pressure of a lynching deadline, I would be willing to join a bandwagon like, for instance, the one on Kiwi right now. There's really no evidence on him, but the fact that he's submarining would be enough evidence for me to join an existing bandwagon in those circumstances, where we need a lynch for information. However, since we aren't being held to the deadline anymore, we are able to find someone more worthy of lynching than Kiwi, and so we should. I assure you I am no serial killer.

I'm not scum, but you're right about my noobishness. I can't believe I said something like that... and I totally understand how that statement started a bandwagon. It's probably one of the most suspicious things posted by anybody so far, so I suppose there's not much I can do except admit that it was an incredibly stupid thing to say, and that I didn't really mean it the way it came out.

We all are guilty of hyperbole at some point, but using that sort of language in a mafia game takes an incredible amount of denseness.

Id like for a moratorium on the vote discussion if possible. Wicked has voiced a legitmate concern and i was perhaps out of line to give as many posts to it as possible.

While i regret it causes some level of disturbance, its something i will continue to use in this game (if not other games in the future). Having said that, it wont do us any good to slow down what has been a good day 1 with more discussion about mechanics of voting.
