Eurasia or Asia?

As you may know, I've started on a Eurasia map, combining all of asian continent and all of the european continent.

Marv raised the idea of lopping europe off and just making an asia map. I think its a good idea, but I also like the idea of a Eurasia map.

So, you guys decide.

Heres a very rough version of the Eurasian map.

For Asia, you can just imagine this map, without blue gray or purple continents. I'll split up Uzbeckistan more, as well as indochina. I combined a lot of things so there will be room for more territories.

Only to mention, according to my suggestion, we should rename the actual Asia map to Far East, its real title. We dont have a map of whole Asia yet.

I voted for Asia.

as said before the current Asia is Far East, so we don't have a Asia map.
We already have a european map and a scandinavian map on its way.
I also think that the map would look better if you cut off the european part, you can make the rest a bit larger making it easier to see.

Is there any possibility that people would be interested in having both, in time?

Of course i'd try and make the graphics a lot different, and I would change the borders up a lot (smaller territories for the Asia map, bigger for the Eurasia, add islands for the Asia map, no islands for Eurasia), different names and routes and stuff. Would they still be too similar for them both to exist?

Old world/silk road, that would be awesome. I thought u liked to make maps of ancient times (ancient greece and alexander's empire). I believe Eurasia has little appeal, so i voted asia.

I hate Ancient Greece Map too.

I voted Eurasia, because the current Far East map is only barring a few countries, an then we don't have to argue political views on Russian Asian-Europeanness, Kazan, Sinai, or other split-continental places.

maybe it would be easier to have both? and a seperate Europe map, as well, by the way, isn't Japan a little small on the draft eurasia map :?:
