Feedback Complaint

Post by wrestler1ump »

I was playing a game last night (2144213) in which the player had me easily defeated, but refused to finish the game. He kept on building his armies and I finally told him I was going to deadbeat out of the game if he didn't finish it. He refused to finish, so I deadbeated. Then he leaves me a negative for deadbeating. I filled out an eticket, and this is the response I get:
You were kicked out of the game for missing too many turns. The
feedback is not a neutral. The feedback's message is about you deadbeating.
I'm sorry but it shall stand.
So tell me, if a low-life decides to take turn after turn without finishing the game off, I am supposed to stay up all night dropping 3 sets onto the map so that I don't deadbeat the game? Is that what you want me to do? Or is there something more political behind the decision to not delete this feedback? I dunno maybe someone can help me to understand, because this is now the SECOND time that it has happened.

I deleted this feedback. I'm sure it was an oversight. In the future, if you want to appeal, do so by responding to the eticket email. I only went ahead and deleted it since I saw the game last night.

:P Check out this one from the long list of bad feedback on this idiot!
Complete moron...missed 1st turn and then was late for every other turn. Deadbeated at the end of the game...real winner here!!!

Isn't a deadbeat the most legit reason for a neg?

Well, it's certainly the most easy to define. However, I'm more concerned about really bad play than anything and, unfortunately, that's the kind that always gets deleted. I suppose it's too subjective.

Translation:
Because the mods are on their game, the mountain of negative feedback I have is well deserved. However, I still feel that I should be given the benefit of the doubt whenever yet another person learns that I am generally a bad person to get stuck in a game with and would like to be able to bitch about negative feedback without having to endure everyone reminding me of the unsavory reality that pretty much everything bad that is said about is completely true.

Edit to add: Fixed and free from flame...

Edited part two: As per the sarcasm thread. Was I supposed to include a ;)?

Well there wasn't any flaming here until detlef's post. No, it won't be locked, but keep the flames out of here.

You brought this on yourself when you nitpicked the validity of your 60th negative feedback. Don't bring this up if you don't want to be reminded of the other 59 well-deserved ones.

This thread isn't about the other 59 is it? Quit changing the subject, foe.

You may not want it to be, but it pretty much is. Do you really not get it? You've got 59, repeat 59 negative feedbacks. That's right up there with the best of 'em. A high enough number that it's pretty hard to believe that nearly all of them aren't very well deserved. Thus, the benefit of the doubt sort of gets thrown out the window and the single quickest way to get shit on is to start nit-picking #60.

That's all that is happening here. Did you really expect this to turn out differently? Really?

Why are you making it look like I said that?

However, to answer your question. You're just not getting it. I understand why you started the thread. However, don't you see why nobody is remotely sympathetic to your plight? Besides, not only do you have a bad habit of racking up negative feedback, you have a bad habit of bitching about it pretty much every time. Just take a look at your feedback, every freaking one you've got some lame-assed excuse for. So great, this time it wasn't your fault. However, the fact that you came here and bitched is only going to bring people like me out of the woodwork to remind you how vinegary fresh you are.

I have read the judgment of my learned friend Lord Detlef, and I agree with it entirely.

I have trouble avoiding negatives, I'll admit it. I have been trying to get the mods to clear some of them out, but they don't often do it. They even refused to believe me when my computer actually crashed. Now that pissed me off more than anything. As for my excuses, well that is what the response column is for. If you don't like it then fine, but I have a bit of a drinking problem and that affects my gameplay. Now and then I miss turns or run out of time, and every single time I get shit for it.
