Did I spread myself too thin?

I'm green and as you can see hold north and south america. Before that last turn I just has south america and it was well reinforced (Braz and Venez) I had most of NA and conquered the rest in the last turn.

I'm just worried I spread myself too thin attempting to defend both continents, what do you think? I wasnt sure whether to still leave a lot on venezuela so if I do get cracked I still have SA. Opinions?
