And Tal, you know that's not what I meant. I meant I really hate mass claims, except when I'm over eager scum and have what I believe to be a really good fake claim to use.

Skoffin, the mass claim has actually already kinda happened since cena claimed cop and claimed you were the doctor. There are no other power roles, so scum will just claim vanilla townies.

I don't see why people would still be interested in the flavour names, as they are just that: flavour. You can't tell someone is scum because of the name they were given. Or would you have recognised "Phil Masterson" as scum if AD claimed it? But hey, if it makes you happy: I'm Maria Contreras.

Now, we just need skoffin to tell us who she protected last night, and we can win this game the way I described in my previous post.

Well... BOO! I'd vote for you right now, however as you're the one I protected I very much doubt you could possibly be scum. Damn you, sir.

I still hate this stupid mass claim. For the record, I only consider a game a victory for me if I survive to the end, so I'm pretty pissed that I'm going to lose tonight.

I don't play that way. If I get nightkilled as a vanilla, I'm usually very happy with it because it means I took a bullet for one of the powerroles. And I find 'breaking a game' - for instance by mass-claiming - much more interesting than 'playing like you should because it's more fun that way'. Anyhow, it's too late for you to thwart my evil scheme now, mwhahaha!

Day 2 Lynch

They all spent the night in the same room that night, debating well into the next afternoon who could have attacked Maria the previous night. Ron stared incessantly at Jimmy almost the entire time.

"I know it was you, Jimmy.", he stated matter-of-factly.

"Oh? And how, exactly, do you know that?", Jimmy asked.
"Because I'm a cop, and I've done a little investigating. You see, I checked up on our Mr. James Armiston before any of us even got here. Not a blemish on his record, nor that of his assistant Ms. Sharpe. I obviously wasn't able to check on any of the other participants, as I had no way of knowing they would even be here. But I did do a little snooping around, and found this in with your belongings, Jimmy." With that, he pulled a small caliber pistol from his pocket.

"That could be anyone's."

"Yeah, it could be anyone's. But I have a feeling it's yours."

Ron and Jimmy locked eyes. Then, Jimmy lost it. He grabbed Jessica around the neck, and, using her as a human shield, held another pistol to her head.

"All I want is the money! You hear me? Just give me the money, and we can all be on our way!" He and Jessica slowly backed away from everyone. Ron adjusted his grip on the firearm in his hand. Jimmy pointed the pistol at Mr. Armiston. "Gimme the damn money!!!"

It all happened so fast. Ron brought his pistol to bear on Jimmy and Jessica. Jimmy caught the movement in the corner of his eye, and swung his pistol towards Ron. With a steady aim, Ron fired a single shot, just before Jimmy shakily squeezed the trigger. Jimmy's round impacted in the wall behind Ron. Ron's found its mark, and buried itself deep in Jimmy's cranium. Both Jimmy and Jessica crumpled to the floor in a heap, Jimmy obviously dead and Jessica visibly shaken. Ron and the others went to help Jessica up.

"You could have shot me!", Jessica shouted.

"Yeah, but I didn't", Ron said with confidence. They both wheeled around to see Mr. Armiston behind them, clapping.

"Well done! Well done! I'm near speechless." Mr. Armiston disappeared into an adjacent room for a few minutes, and came back holding the briefcase, the likes of which none of them had ever seen. "You all deserve this."

Ron and Jessica looked at each other, and then the rest of the group. They had all been through quite the ordeal, and the reward was worth it.

Jimmy Jackson (Talapus - MAFIA) has been lynched.

I wrote the scene with the bullets missing Maria to show that the doctor had protected who the mafia member was trying to kill. It was the only real way I could write it without truly giving away the doctor.

Anyway, well played by the town. Not a single person dead. I'd be glad to have any of you guys in my games. Thanks.

Sentinel, thanks for modding! I liked how much effort you put into the scenes, even when nobody died. If you're ever going to mod a C9 again, I would advise you to only let the cop know whether someone is guilty or innocent instead of giving him the full role. In this case, cena would not have been told Skoffin was the doctor, just that she was innocent. I believe it's supposed to be that way in a standard C9 game. Other then that, good modding. If I have the time when you start your Ninjas vs. Pirates game, I'll be sure to join!
