I wonder if all of the cartographers really want this community dropping into their little world every day to assure that you are not messing up the best map in this site?

of course they don't FT! but they are certainly getting the 5 minutes in the spot-light which they must have calculated they would.
I think this is like a case of a neglected housewife (in the 50's when society was less matriarchal); she toils in the kitchen and scrubs the floors, she always has the dinner ready .. even when Bob is late home from squash, after work, she is ready with his slippers and a smile... she rarely complains..she is the rock on which this marriage is built! .... but resentment builds... lack of appreciation accumulates; too many suppers ruined.. too many fish suppers not eaten ^^

Those circles are just terrible. I want to see the map not these big huge circle things clashing with my eye. It got so much worse. I don't understand why this happened. It totally like ruins my game. If they don't change it back I will no renew because all I play is classic. The circles are the worst thing about it. It's like all I see is circles and no map.

As many of you have noticed the original classic map has been revamped into a distracting and hard to read product. There was nothing wrong with the original map. Please join me in signing this petition to change it back.

Listen, I appreciate that they've got a hard job as much as the next guy. However, it does seem odd that the amount of posts about the exact same thing is now above a half dozen and that kind of thing usually tends to get weeded.

It just so happens that wicked herself has posted in those same threads that she agrees with what those posts are saying. Kind of sets a bad precedent for somebody who's allegedly here to keep these forums free from this very thing.

Basically, it's OK to spam the general message board with the same complaint over and over provided wicked agrees with you.

edit to add: Check that, we're up to almost 10 threads about it now. I can't recall seeing any other topic even reach 5.

When people are pissed about something, it's best not to shut them down with locking or merging threads (which appears to be a deletion b/c it's hard to find and would've gotten lost in the sheer volume of posting yesterday). So yesterday and this morning was about letting people have their say and making sure you guys knew you were being listened to. Today will be about cleaning it all up (the threads and maybe even the map, that's tbd). So yes, it will all be merged eventually. It all happened quite quickly yesterday. If we had've merged it all yesterday, there still would've been 10 separate threads today. Now things have appeared to have calmed down, so they'll be merged.

This is a damned if I do, damned if I don't anyway.
