computer won't let me get on CC

I'm on my friends comp right now. I've tried getting on CC for about a week now with no success on my home computer. I have Norton internet security/firewall/anti-virus/anti-spam. I don't know if I'll be able to get on again so if u could just post some reasons to why this happened, I will try to get on my friends computer again sometime.

Can you get to other sites?

If yes, just open up your protection software and add CC in the allowed area.

If not, clear your cache.

Check your connection service.

Run Defrag/Disk clean up.

Re-Install IE/FireFox.

if this fails, get someone round who knows what they are doing. Without knowing what machine/Op system I can't say anything else.

Norton sucks. It blocks sites that are fine and misses so many viruses, i know from experience.

On my computer i trusted a combination of McAfee, a Spybot program and a Sweeper that my friend made... i actually fond the sweeper to work the fastest and the best at removing viruses, but it doesn't block them =\
