Righty then. What's the summary for the past three days?

reading a summary is like skimming. Bad idea.

At the same time a summary gives everyone a base of discussion. Asking for one, though, is like skimming.

aside from me lying about when day would break for the 1001705108 time...

It was a weird night in the asylum, as the snow fell as heavy as ever. Things were eerily silent as if people expected it would not be long until something terrible occurred. They would not be proven foolish for such fears as early on in the evening something wicked occured in the staff quarters.

Security notes - The first call of the evening was to sheepofdumbs quarters. He was found dead via numerous puncture wounds. He was clutching a set of pills which upon further review seem to be the last of a large number that was either stolen, or removed from the room. We are investigating his death of course, but without those potions we are likely to have a hard time keeping patients under control for the remainder of the game. We have put an all quarters alert out to try and find the missing material.

Sheepofdumb -apothecary (staff-varying) has been killed.

Later on in the evening i returned to some of the patient areas to find one of our more hopeful cases brutally murdered. It would seem according to the notes of his physician that fircoal was doing very well in terms of recovering from his ailments. However he was found in a blood of blood. Attached to his body was a note.

Aside from the fact that we clearly have one homicidal maniac running around on our hands, given the notes of the past two nights, there were more deaths to report. Upon arriving at nagerous quarters, i found him unable to be awoken. I sent for assistance and it was determined he had been killed. We are unsure as of yet what the cause of death was, but it appears unlikely given his previous bill of health last month that it is from natural causes.

nagerous - doctor (staff-town) has died.

Around the same time, i was told that our visiting merchant was not responding to knocks on his door, and that people were worried. By now i was pretty sure the news was not good. I arrived in his quarters to find him dead as well. Curiously i found two interesting things. First i found a note from what appears to certainly be a staff member, suggesting that diddle was doing something that aroused a lot of resentment. Likewise it seems he had taken the pills from sheepofdumb, in order to add to a set of reserves he had on his own. However the potions seem to no longer be labeled and they are strewn across his quarters, so im not sure we will be able to put them back together.

As morning began to break we all looked to see what had occured over the evening. It soon became very clear neoteny had not arrived with some of the other patients for the morning call. Upon arriving to his room, i found him dead. Unlike many of the other cases however, his was a clear suicide, and he attached a note.

neoteny's suicide note - please, please forgive me. I cannot go on any longer. With your steward voldemort already gone, i feel weaker and weaker by the moment. I cant imagine trying to do your work without him, as i have no guidance as to where to go or what to do. My cross has become too burdensome for me to carry any longer. I ask you forgive me for the sins i have committed in this world. My spirit was willing father, but my flesh has always been too weak.

Also with 17 now alive it takes 9 to lynch. A game update will be occuring at the beginning of the next night phase so be on the look out.

Beyond that, I looked at Ga7 and he is town.

day 1 was the really meaty day of the game with about 40 or so pages. Wicked a member of the staff-mafia was eventually caught out by a few players. But she would likely not have been lynched unless a proposed deadline was coming up, in which everyone decided to lynch her over another potential candidate (who i cannot remember at this time).

During the night phase the town lost 3 players...2 medical staff, 1 patient, but a serial killer was also killed.

Day 2 was relatively short, as AD pushed for the lynching of suika and as the chief of medicine, his push carried a lot of weight. Suika ended up being a patient however and the day ended negatively for the town.

Night 2 was a very bloody night as two players from a patient mafia faction along with 3 staff players all ended up dead.

Day 3 there was some discussion about the medicine that physicans are supposed to give to their patients. lalaland was mentioned as not participating at all, and she was eventually bandwagonned after william produced an investigation that she was something she was not.

There appear to be 2 different scum factions in the game, and players that are both good and bad as patients and staff. A number of people have claimed including AD and William.

My PR's gone off now for some reason so I can finally post normally . Anyway, going by Day 1 scene, it looks like diddle was there to help town, so that can be counted as 3 town dead not counting sheep as he was varying. Since there has only been 1 staff mafia dead, I think we will be able to get some sort of clue by analyzing wicked's lynch. I'll go through it and post over later but if anyone wants to do it, he is more than welcome!

Honestly it warms my heart to see I was spot on about Neoteny but yeah pretty shitty night. Seems both third parties Sheep and Diddle were important for the good functionment of the asylym... Now what about William, insane day cop or something more random? I'm surprised scum left him alive regardless of last day's screwup cause if it's the first option he'll definitely be useful. Else he might be playing us...

Is fine. was hoping it would also give role since that might give a hint away to a character possibly being a Godfather. Either way, I'm guessing the merchant was the one that was giving us our candy/medicine to take and with sheep and the merchant both being gone now that we may be vulnerable to running out of the pills.

Well, Nark was also wrong about Suika. I don't think both would be insane or paranoid, so I think it's more then likely that there's a framer running about in here.

Call me crazy (or just slightly stoned) but I might have an idea as to diddle (and possible sheep's) alignment(s). Is it possible that diddle was trying to sell (get rid of) his meds to staff to fulfil some form of win condition, thus making him a third party?

Because of that, sheep could be varying - not sure, but his role was greeen, so meh.

Anyway I don't know if that made any sense.

Kalish, Kiwi, and CLive need to speak up, as they have not been very vocal this game... (Of course, Kalish just replaced Spurg)

I can't imagine that Spurg is scum, as he never participated at all, so I doubt he was sending in any nightkills, etc. Kiwi is not very active, but around, so that would be prime for someone to still be paying attention... Clive, fix your damn computer.
