My vote for gimpyThewonder was based on the fact that I thought that what he did was scummy. It was not because everyone else was voting for him. I stated a reason for my vote, and made it.

Every vote, in a sense, is bandwagoning. A group of people vote for one person, each individual voting for one reason or another. I voted for my own reason, and no one else's. Do I absolutely know that gimpy is scum? No. That would be difficult to find out on Day One. However, I thought his action was scum, so I placed my vote on him. I felt it was a good reason.

LV, you are right. Mafia is definitely played differently here. It looks like I may have to get used to it.

I'm going to UNVOTE. Like I said, I'm not absolutely sure about gimpy being scum.

the fact you didn't realise that it was a joke and that most thigns said in the first few pages are jokes is the one thing not making you look scummy

OK, here's my two cents. It is day 1. Clearly, we have no real evidence to go with. The only way to get evidence is force some claims. Recently, people have been spurting "trying to get a claim on day 1 is scummy" and "bandwagoning for no reason is scummy," etc. While scum are going to jump on bandwagons, it is exceedingly difficult to tell the scum from the non scum. Meantime, instead of bitching about the bandwagoning, limited (keep away from noob hammers and what not) should be mildly encouraged, particularly by townies. There is always the risk of outing a power role, but the information we can get from a long, well-thought out Day 1 will carry over and should balance out those odds. I'm not talking about a quick lynch, I'm just talking about recon. This might benefit the mafia as well, but we outnumber them. So it's just a matter of time. This is my opinion from my, albeit limited, experience. So feel free to correct me. Meantime, I'm going to reread and see who sounds scummy according to these criteria. If nothing else, maybe I'll get some productive conversation going instead of the random votes and unvotes. Let's put our heads together, assholes, and work this out.

Yes, I agree. Who should we put the pressure on. Animorph dismissed his mistake as a noob mistake but I just think he let the power go to his an started to make threats.
