This Wishing Well idea, while original, should never be used, except as a last resort.

even thought i do understand why the wishing well should be used as a last resort, since day one is always mostly random, i think make it extra spicy with the wishing well is fun, and as guu from jungle wa itsumo hale nochi guu says "as long as guu is having fun, everything is fine", plus having a first lynch fast will give us info for a second more informed lynch.

Vote (wishing well)

I'd say in a regular game the noobish misconception of day 1 being random can often be far from the truth, especially in big games. Though regarding the wishing well option despite depriving us of valuable voting info it does make sense in a game where (supposedly, if I recall well Batman) about half the people won't be happy with a lynch regardless of the result. But meh even if it sounds fun I prefer bugging people publicly

Flores:
Yes, but we don't get nearly as much information via a Wishing Well lynch. Normally, when we find out the affiliation of the lynched person, we can look at who voted for them. With the wishing well, it's all hidden.

Last time I was pissed off at the use of a random vote in Batman, Talapus's last game. There was a wagon of about 7 people on it before it got called off. A good number were scum as I remember, I'll get the facts later busy right now but I'm gonna call out and FOS everyone on the wishing well vote one again.

How the hell does a fast first lynch give us info for a second more informed lynch?! How many games have you played in Flores? It's ten times better for the town if we lynch someone ourselves. We'll find scum every time! The discussion and vote counts are our best info.

You know why Talapus includes the wishing well option? So we have something to talk about right away...and possibly lynch the scum who vote for it.

FOS Flores, /, and Anark

In fact, Unvote, Vote AD because you should know better and you just voted / for the same thing you did.

She's down there too so if she delivers the slap it saves me a trip down the stairs. Plus, it's starting to smell... :P

Wrong, ML... You apparently didn't read his post too well... I voted him for saying this:
Wow, looks very good, I wonder which faction is town though.
Why would anyone say that?

So before you assume you know why I voted, ask... 8-)

And I also wanted to address this last bit, on a serious note.

It says right in the freaking day scene which faction are town and scum, that's uncharacteristically stupid of / to post so I'd bet he's scum doing the scum thing (trying hard for an irrelevant post to say he's here but not draw any attention) but screwed up because he skimmed/didn't read the rules/scene (also a scum maneuver). Best evidence I've seen on day 1 in awhile, to be honest. It's a blatant scum slip-up...
