self explanatory: you have to get 4 territories in a line to gain a bonus... the rest of the game proceeds as normal. But to avoid silly bonus's the majority of the starting territories would be Neutral (a little like Feudal wars in essence)

you have to gain areas with vital information, raw materials and skill-sets to set up base and then terraform. This was the time period when the emperor basically became a figurehead and the Samurai heads (called Daimyo) of Japan's major clans fought to see who should be named Shogun. There was something like 6-8 major clans. Just a thought.
