i think skoffin logic right on the spot, talapus is "basing" his story line on grimms, but is not "following faithfully" every single detail, for example in the tale when kalish got knocked out because of oogling the princesses, in the original tale the person who was punished wasnt a pervy, but a poor woman who was washing clothes by the river and stole a piece, talapus is obviously adapting some roles and stories to his convenience, which is totally fine by me.
As skoffin said, the birds do have a role in cinderella, besides give new clothes to her, they screwed the plan of the step sisters of pretend to being the rightful owner of the lost slipper, the first one cut off her finger for fit in the damn shoe, and could have gotten away with it if it wasnt for the bird telling to the prince to watch her bleeding foot; in this case the birds were obviously helpful "to town" but since talapus have the chance to adapt, who knows, and even if pmc was a pro-town lyncher him obviously got the things wrong with william, and therefor might be paranoid, or insane, or god knows why, but still i dont feel safe having him around, so my vote stays.
. Next night may be another story, but people who moved certain places or found certain things were informed......everyone else, just be thankful you're alive!
