The town were clearly bloodthirsty, a bandwagon begun and before one knew it Carlo Rizzi had been lynched under allegations of being involved in a dangerous cult. However, this proved untrue. Carlo believed his lover would commit suicide following his death as he believed their love was that strong. However, his believes about his lover were naive to say the least.
