The Username Jiminski...

I played a few games with a user that named himself Jiminski. I am part Sioux Indian and German, and I find the use of that particular moniker very appalling! I understand CC's looseness in the forums is meant not to scare people off, but if the majority of your players were educated on the name Jiminski, I believe they would be offended as well.

First off, when I was about eight, I was playing on the school playground at recess. I slid down the slide, swung on the swings, and twirled around and around on the merry-go-round. I was having so much fun, and then this big 6th grader named Jimmy comes up. He rounded all the 3rd graders up and proceeded to take their milk money. "The audacity!" I proclaimed to myself, and I proceeded to confront him on this issue.

I got off the merry-go-round and proceeded to advance towards Jimmy the school bully (I stumbled a little bit, as I was a little dizzy from playing). I said,"Jimmy, why don't you leave us alone!"

Jimmy said,"Why don't you make me, huh?"

So I rushed Jimmy with all the mass that I could carry in an eight-year old physique and tried to tackle him on the playground.

Jimmy just stuck his eleven-year old arm out and stiffed armed me in the forehead, while my legs were still moving and my fists were flying. He then gave me one big shove and I hit the ground and knocked out one of my teeth!

And Jimmy was a white kid, and I just feel that that is offensive because my relatives were all massacred over in Minnesota and had to flee for the Sisseton-Whapeton Reservation or be annihilated.

And I would also like to point out that the suffix that Jimi uses (I am talking about the player now) is very Scandinavian sounding and could quite possibly mean that he is Pro-Norse which we all know the horrors that those people ensued on the world! When the Norse landed on the shores of your homeland, you knew better than to face them on the battlefield, they knew no mercy!

I just find that CC is totally pro-Jiminski and I am quite appalled by such leniency on usernames!

Wacicha means "something that is evil" in Sioux, the original form of the word (I was told) was Wacishun which means "something with a medicine bundle" (relating to the doctors of the white men who carried large bags with medical supplies with them).

Both of which are terms that refer to the white man or people, but the word Wacicha took precedence when white people started killing the Sioux.

Wacicha can be both a good name and a bad name, depends on how you accent the syllables. Crazy Horse was known by that particular nickname when he was growing up, as it is said Tasunka Witco (Crazy Horse) was light skinned and had reddish hair.

All of which is of to no avail, as CC is slowly starting to realize the true nature of Jiminski's vile ways!

I remember the incident all too well! And he is not telling you the full, sorry tale!
This unpleasant situation developed when i was trading Root-beer with DaGip (or should call him by his real name: Gunter Fritz Padola Mahpiyawakankidan) for shares in the Happy Beaver - Safety-Match and kitchen utensil Company, in Idaho!

i was 7 and DaG was 24; he'd been held back to retake advanced colouring-in and glitter gluing! I concede we were indeed on the Indian reservation in Whitechapel, East London. (but i have never drunk milk.. Mummies teats were never precipitous enough for that!)

Gunter told me it was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get in on some prime riverbank woodland in Boise, Gateway to Canada!
what he did not tell me was an ancient Beaver-burial ground! Well you may imagine the local Beavers were not as Friendly as their Headed notepaper would have you believe!

It all went sour! the Bulldozers moved in but were halted by Dam after Dam, all along Snake river! Until finally it climaxed, they had reached the final showdown: The Battle of Chipped Tooth was upon them!
Its story shall be told, in revered and hushed tones, for a hundred more Beaver generations! (approximately 2 years, 11 days)

The Defenders had fashioned themselves a beautiful camphor fort, with a bevelled roof and cedar decking but they had little chance in the face of the hungry, Happy Beaver conglomerate!
Incisor met the metal-tooth of Capitalism and the result was all but certain!....The defenders had courage and the paw of destiny onside. But In the end the high pitched hum of the Chainsaws screamed-out, like the last woeful words of the displaced Beaver Spirits!

Naturally word got back to the Whitechapel Islamic junior Madhhaband comprehensive.. I was not happy, this was a serious black-mark on my portfolio!.
Like tiny toy-soldiers, Gunter and Jiminski re-enacted the fateful day of The Battle of Chipped Tooth!
But this time, with a puny, 7 year old, baked-bean and fish-finger-fed forearm smash.. the evil power-hungry conglomerate met its Match!

You don't know how very close you are, Jimi...my great, great grandfather is known by the name Mahpiyaho'tanka, which translates basically as:

My only Sioux name is hEpanj which means Second Brother, but my older brother will inherit the name Mahpiyaho'tanka when my grandfather dies...kind of makes me jealous, but I guess that is Sioux tradition. I wish I could have a naming ceremony so I could get a cool Sioux name!

I want the name Sky Shield, because of the UFO I saw on the Hopi Rez.

Sky is Mahpiya but I don't know what shield is. It might be wachunjka, but I am uncertain. My Sioux is fairly deficient.
