I believe there should be two new subforums with 1 dedicated to those that have been busted and another dedicated to those that have been cleared
It will only require that threads are moved after a verdict has been made and it will simplify the process of searching for other complaints about an indvidual
I beleive the main section would the place that would need to be checked and the 2 subs would be cleared and busted so essentially yes. It would create less clutter in the Cheating and abuse section in the long run and I feel it would make everyone life easier at the end of the day
I have often thought such a list would be nice. BUT, I would only have a list of those actually busted. I would like to see the name of the person and all the "multi" names.
I also think an email notification of those in active games with multis might be appropriate... though only at the time the person is busted.
I think that it is important to keep Both Cleared and Busted together as quite often where there is smoke there is fire!
Although it is not always possible to prove conclusively that people have cheated due to rule ambiguity, people can quickly judge those who only escaped justice through a loophole and those who are entirely without sin!

this doesn't sound very practical; it will take up more space on the server and will cause a lot more work for the site.
We'll have some new subforums at some point to better organize things as the site grows. I understand the reasoning behind the suggestion, and while that would make pending cases more obvious, it would create more work for the Hunters. You'd still have the shadow threads from where they'd been moved, so really, it wouldn't reduce clutter at all. Plus it's easier to search just one forum when looking for previous accusations.
As an FYI, splitting threads with this current forum software is wholly inefficient and a major PITA.
Yes, but then people wouldn't be able to find the thread, so we leave a trail of breadcrumbs. I remember someone complaining once we shouldn't leave shadow threads, so I moved his thread w/o leaving a shadow and he went off thinking I'd deleted it. We all sat back and laughed for awhile, then told him where to find it. He withdrew the suggestion.

lol I understand the headache we use very similar software On the site which I do Mod work on it is extra headache but in the end it make life more beautiful and organized...Lol I look forward to the additional subs in the future though
A short search showed it's been suggested a couple times already. Lack posted in one he's for it, but never marked it pending, so it probably never made it onto the list. But no worries, we've been discussing subforums lately and we know this would work better as two.
