I can see why dropping mid game could be an issue, surely if you drop out then you are defeated so they simply take the points off you and give them to the eventual winner?

I think I posted this elsewhere (probably in suggestions) but why not allow someone who feels they got an unplayably bad hand (poor positing, stuck in a game with opponents they don't want to play with, etc.) the option to drop the game at a small point penalty (2 points per opponent, that the opponents would then receive) rather than penalize them nothing to waste 72 hours of the rest of the people playing.

I don't understand why someone would NOT want to be out of a game they're not even playing. I think if someone wants out they should be able to begin a vote and then everyone else would vote on whether to let them leave the game. They'd then lose points for losing the game.
