addons for mac / apple

ok ... maybe im a complete noob, but im trying to figure out what scripts i can get to work on my macbook pro. i tried installing greasemonkey 0.7.20080121.0 on firefox 2.0.0.14 i enabled it and in the bottom right i made the monkey colored and smile. BUT ITS STILL NOT WORKING!!! is there another script someone knows about? maybe im doing something wrong? im on OSX version 10.5.3

I wrote this because I prefer Safari to Firefox on my Mac. I'm still very happy with it!
