Honestly, if Italy and France both get smashed by the Netherlands and cant get more than a point against Romania...they dont deserve to go through tactics or not. I dont think its a stretch at all to suggest the current quality of the teams in the group play is reflect by the table. Its not rocket science, you have 3 matches and you have to finish in the top 2...which means your going to have to win, especially if you lose a match in the mix. Both of the sides in danger havent...and thats why they wont be going through.

I think it is as smart as trying to take over Africa in 8-person escalating game

Not only you open yourself up for a possible UEFA investigation and dismissal from the tournament, you are also setting Spain up for an easy-peasy quaterfinal so that they beat yourself in semis!!!

On the other hand, the dutch can safely rest slightly injured players as well as players on yellow cards. But if you imagine what a regular benchwarmer will do in such games, he will work his socks off to show that he is good enough!! BTW, the dutch seem to have the best quality bench, as all their sub so far were superb.

Winning a group does not mean progressing to the semis. Winning group games in style usually means your form and luck dips closer towards the final. Judging by your predictions, you dont know much about footie. I hope to prove you wrong tonight...

Essentially, only Croatia-Turkey looks like a done deal. The remaining three are widely open...
