Team map

Post by Natewolfman »

so i was thinking, we have all these different types of maps... can i create a map that is specifically a team only map, quads, triples, doubles... in which the layout would be one set of players is set in a specific area, while the other team is on the other side of the map. just something i would like to know if it would be acceptable and what people think, it would add a whole new type of game play possibilities for this

As far as I know, it is imposibble to do this with the current XML. Even though they're are certain places you can make Starting places; they are assigned randomly.

A small tweek to the XML would make tihs possible, but the only problem is that I dont think lack will allow "team only" games.

it would be kinda cool. For example, in a dubz game player A has to hold 1 and player B has to hold 2 and you get a bonus :D

I think this could work pretty well in a ww1 trench warfare type map. two sides with no mans land inbetween. Each team is set up on either side of no mans land with the mission of storming the opponents trenches!
