Lack has seen it.

Yes it is capable of being emailed - however it's not in the correct form technically...

This was just a quick mock up as a static webpage - this site runs off of PHP - so it would need to be recoded into PHP...

I'm 100% sure that this is on the todo list - and will hopefully see the light of day soon. - How many of my ideas Lack takes is upto him.

See thats what I'm saying though. You have got a great idea...and I'd love to see it implemented, but for right now, I'd just like a quick easy change to get done quickly. From my understanding all you have to do is cut and paste the code from the bottom part of the page to the top part of the page, and then copy and paste the Search button. Which can all be done in no time, maybe 3 minutes. Simple is good, quick, and easy.

We can continue on with a bigger more all-encompassing redesign that is more major, will need more feedback and design over a longer course of time such as your idea later. It takes coding to do your changes, but the simple one I want is just copy and paste. Please correct me if I'm wrong....

Not being a PHP expert - I can't really guarantee it - but I would suspect that moving stuff to the top - and adding an extra button - would be 2 mins CnP work.

It would be nice to see an option to search for games awaiting X number of players. That is, sometimes Id like to be able to be the last one in a game for first turn advantage, so being able to search a game waiting on 1 player would be nice.

I'm pretty sure that who starts is random....not the last person to join....

He's talking about joining 2 player games last when the setting is freestyle because then he will always get to go first.

Or any freestyle game with only 1 player left....the game starts when he joins. Okay. Makes sense. That is an option that isn't available right now, so it takes more work, and I believe should be considered in addition to Yeti_C's work when the time comes for an overhaul....

Thats part of it, but I've also seen a game type I'm interested to play take a couple of days to fill up. So, it would be easier to just consider it when it only needs 1 or 2 more players rather than see it pop up again and again with 1-2 of 8 joined.

I've created a separate thread for the Major Revamp. I'd like to quench and deploy this minor redesign....

Hey guys,

A redesign of the game creation/search page was one of the major jobs of the UI Guru we hired several months ago. Sadly, the person we hired had some RL stuff that took over his time here. We have identified a new potential and should be setting tasks for them soon. The redesign will be one of their first priorities...and it will be fairly comprehensive :)

Thats why I was thinking SIMPLE. All it takes is cut and paste the code to the top of the page instead the bottom of the page, and then copy and paste the submit button code. Not a major redesign with samples and polling of people. Just a minor "touchup". We can work on the Major stuff later when we have a guy/girl to actually write the code. for now all the code has been written, just needs to be re-organized.
