But my guess is
The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening
On some emulator or maybe the GBC, that dog looks really familiar...

And 4 hearts is what you can have when you go for the second dungeon, and for that you need that dog to eat the flowers in front of it, yes, I'm becoming more and more sure that the game is Link's Awakening.
Ah, those were the days... I must have played that game 10 times or more.

*claps* Your go.
w00t! I'll give you the picture when I get home and can get a good screenshot. I've already got a few ideas.

edit: funny thing is, I'm listening to Megadeth atm, who wrote the song with the same name.

No, too few people on screen. I was thinking about that game, too, but decided in favour of an other.
And yes Cramill, that's what I meant, there's a song by Megadeth called "Gears of War".

Maybe you should, though it's unlikely you bought it on your home market. I guess it's time for a small hint, the game was never released in north America, there were versions for the European and Australian markets, though.
And cramill was right about what console it was made for.

Are you trying to make me start playing the game again just so you can get some more screenshots?

No clue then.

Don't you people have emulators? There are tons of sites where you can download roms, you don't even have to upload anything so you're not even doing anything illegal. Anyway, what's the upper limit after which I should pick a new, easier game?

As I said, I'd have to start playing the game again to get some more good screenshots, I only had some freezefiles left over from the final stage. Well, you'll get something easier then, directly if I can find a good screenshot on the web, otherwise you'll have to wait until very late today when I get home or maybe even tomorrow.

Its definitely a 64 game. A little google searching and wikipedia helped me find the name of the game. So if no one knows it off the top of their head, I'll name it.

Yeah, but I can only go through one game at a time. I just started FFIV again...
