Well, I didn't get a 64 when it just came out. I got one years later, and one of my first games was Goldeneye.BaldAdonis wrote:Boo to searching! That's Pilotwings. Where were you all when the N64 came out? It was one of the first games, everyone had it.
Angband, though it could be the Zangband variant, which is far superior IMO. I still play both. They are fantastic games, they just don't make games with this sort of gameplay any more. Think of it as a very very old version of Diablo that is way superior to Diablo in everything except graphics. Definitely one of the greatsBaldAdonis wrote:Boo to searching! That's Pilotwings. So I suppose I'm next.
Not sure how old all of you are, but this one takes me back.

I love it. Just started playing it again, because it works everywhere (so I can play on a really old machine). Had to restart after I got to 24 though, I got blinded and couldn't read any spells... without their eyes, mages have nothing.e_i_pi wrote:Angband, though it could be the Zangband variant, which is far superior IMO. Okay, did an advanced search, this one hasn't come up yet. One of my all time favourites. When looking for a screenshot, I found that someone had remade it for WindowsAn excellent game, well worth playing despite its age...
The name of the game appears up the top, where I have whited it out. Same font

Hot dog we have a wiener! Well done DM, it was in fact Paradroid for the C64. It has been remade for Windows in 2006 if anyone is interested:DarkMalkin wrote:Isn't it Quazatron? Awsome game!Although it seems a bit... I think it might actually be Paradroid.
