Favorite Professional Sport

Post by mizery24 »

This question is debated quite a bit in my home town on sports radio. I am in the middle of Nascar country so It seems to be at the top of everyones list of favorite pro sports. I am just curious of the National perspective.

Jai-Alai is pretty cool. It was popular in Florida when I lived there.

My thinking in this poll was to see what people like as far as TV package, live-game/race experience, and overall interest.

I do not play professional sports, and I'm sure many of us do not either.

I've been to each of the events except for NHL (although I would love to go,) and Nascar and NFL, by far, have the best Live experiences.

They also have the best TV packages.

Have you played it? Most rugby league (and indeed Union) players play. It's very fast paced and certainly requires more fitness than any other sport I've played and I've played pretty much every sport that is played in Australia.

Fitness or not playing a sport that is meant to be rough and turning it into to touch is gay. If you want fitness go play basketball or soccer. If you want to jack somebody up and have to deal with a fitness then play real football or rugby.

The only thing I know about Soccer is that they cry about any amount of contact. Everytime I try to watch soccer, which is rare, I see some wimp lying on the ground because he got kicked in the shin. Isn't that what shin-protectors are.

If chess is a sport, then I'm a millionaire. ha ha
