Basically, if your defense is 2, and your attacker has 5 attack, then you lose 3 energy. But if your defense is 2, and you're defending, and your attacker has 5 attack, then you lose only 1 energy. Your defense is only doubled for as long as you are defending; it goes back at the end of the day.

Well, it doesn't matter if I know what I'm doing if I can't explain it to others... let's see...

Your status of "defending" only lasts for one day. During that time, your "defense" statistic is twice what it normally is, but you cannot move. The next day, you can move again, but your defense is back to normal... unless you chose to defend on that day, as well.

What happens to the markers after i cash in a bonus(i have 3 markers in a row), do they disappear, or can i reuse them to create other sets of 3 in a row?

Also can i cash in a bonus, at any time?
As in:
"move to X
leave marker
use bonus to get energy
etc"

The markers disappear, and are replaced by cards (as long as there are still enough cards in the deck) as soon as there are three in a row.

That uses the "fourth" dimension of the Ω-axis, but it only uses three dimensions: X,Z, and Ω. Since you never go into blue or red, the Y-coordinate never changes, so that would score 3 bonuses.
