The attack routes on the lanterns, people and countries is to hard for me to see. I just look like lines in colours with some odd dots on it.

That's exactly what it is. Do you know of another way to show it.

Instead of useing fussy dots i would recommand Wires with arrowheads..or something like that. It would look more like lanterns if you use Wires wont it?:S well its probbably more ways to fix this i just said was i tought was a problem, and i didint mean to offend your map or anything.

Androidz...no worries ytou didn't offend me, but we had already been over this attack routes and most people were happy with what has been done...or there was no indication to the contrary until you mentioned it. If you read back through the thread you'll see where it came from. Laterns hanging on wires would approriate in RL, but not on this map where players need to see where the borders are.
I was only after a suggestion that i thought you might have been able to provide that was better than existing.

I don't know about arrowheads, i like to keep these for one-way or absolute two-way indicators on my maps.
If you think of something else, then don't hesitate to offer it.

You have Blue Dot on the lanterns who can attack echoter, and green on another which can attack anohter or something like the Docksystem on Aor and Portal setup in other maps..? You can still use the lines but adding some colour system to which it attack would be good right? I Think it is theese fuzzy dots which is confusing to me...

Also most of the names and legend writeing his a bit dim to me, its hard to see for they who dont got 100% good sight..and i dont know how it will go for the colourblind anyway maybe some darker letters and a stronger Silverish glow around them? Some of the names go over to other borders and some of them got - to bind them. Well i think thats a bit hard to fix. dont mind my commenting im just pricky:D

Sorry i dont notice army circle on country box. Why you not put circles? Its these will been withouth circles? I think that if you put more px to left and right to box , you will get enough space on box. Also i add Flag of austria-hungary empire. All flags you can find in wikipedia.
Can you show where will numbers bee,to know how to experiment with names.

1. there isn't any need for army circle in the houses as the house are the army circle boxes.
2. Flags should be correct now - yes i got them from wikipedia
3. lanterns straightened
4. 8 nation alliance colour reduced to allow text to be well seen.
5. change to legend for dynasties and who they can attack and border on the yellow imperial meridian.

no i didn't skip over this....i just didn't want to get to it last night when i was due for some sleep and it was already 1:30 am.

i get the gist of what you mean with the docking system etc. for the attack lines.
1. i don't like to copy other systems from other maps - i like my maps to be unique.
2. putting the docking system in or the coloured dots would require some explanation in the legend, where this is no room left.
3. those indicators are not flowers, and you will see this all better if the big map is displayed which is what you might have to play on - don't worry about the large image yet as there are lots of repairs that have to made to the lines, the propogation increase doesn't always translate up well to the larger size but this will be ficed by the time the map is split into two version.
4. the borders symbol indicators keep the design chinese flavour

Yeh, thanks Qwert. I'll look at adjusting that shortly, don't want it to look as though A-H Empire has a larger house than the others though.

Ah, time for another long list of little tweaks. Cairns, you really make feedback fun.

On the legend, all of the text, particularly the drop-shadowed bigger text, seems flat and uninteresting next to the killer scroll texture you've got in place. The Ming and Qing look just fine, for comparison. Also of note is that the drop shadows make almost all the text it applies to harder to read.

The Ming/Qing separator in the legend fades out of existence unless you're paying attention to it. Considering that the orange dotted line you have stated there doesn't separate either dynasty (rather, it joins them through the meridian attack thing), I would suggest switching it to something else. Perhaps a throwback to that ornamental separator you had several versions back.

The border indicator doesn't seem to resolve to anything even though it seems like it should. I'm not sure what to suggest to fix this, but you always come up with something.

Both A-H Empire and Germany look weird directly above their respective border indicators. I know that the entire set of territories up there is standardized width, so I would suggest a full change across them all to make that weird overhang disappear.

With the bridges on NE Outer Court and SW Outer Court, they look like your brush slipped down while trying to draw around the river. Are there actually three bridges across the river on those territories? If not, I would suggest condensing down to one, wider bridge. For comparison, SW Court and SE Outer Court look pretty good. Five Bridges Court could use a similar revamp, but it's kinda...five bridges.

On the right side, both the Boxers (Li Yuan-hung, Yuan Shih-kal) and the Foreigners (Catholics) have an unnecessary border overhang on the left side. On the left side, Sun Yat-sen has the same kind of overhang.

All over the map the outer edges of a lot of territory names end up getting lost due to color changes. This is most evident on the blue-ish palace borders in the city, and the edges of the lanterns on the outside. The subtle outer glow helps, but moving text around would also help.

Finally, the Eunuchs Fu, Li, and Tsi look weird with the solid vertical, but I don't see any way to fix it without being slammed with lack of continuity.

And you make it seem...well.. less than humbling.

On the legend, all of the text, particularly the drop-shadowed bigger text, seems flat and uninteresting next to the killer scroll texture you've got in place. The Ming and Qing look just fine, for comparison. Also of note is that the drop shadows make almost all the text it applies to harder to read.

The Ming/Qing separator in the legend fades out of existence unless you're paying attention to it. Considering that the orange dotted line you have stated there doesn't separate either dynasty (rather, it joins them through the meridian attack thing), I would suggest switching it to something else. Perhaps a throwback to that ornamental separator you had several versions back.

The border indicator doesn't seem to resolve to anything even though it seems like it should. I'm not sure what to suggest to fix this, but you always come up with something.

Both A-H Empire and Germany look weird directly above their respective border indicators. I know that the entire set of territories up there is standardized width, so I would suggest a full change across them all to make that weird overhang disappear.

With the bridges on NE Outer Court and SW Outer Court, they look like your brush slipped down while trying to draw around the river. Are there actually three bridges across the river on those territories? If not, I would suggest condensing down to one, wider bridge. For comparison, SW Court and SE Outer Court look pretty good. Five Bridges Court could use a similar revamp, but it's kinda...five bridges.

I luv it when you make suggestions that are beyond ignorance...there are actually five bridges in five bridges court, and three bridges in each of the other courts, and several single ones that aren't actually on this map. Remember, I didn't design this place, it already existed. So perhaps you could accept somethings for what they are. But i will tidy that up so it seems as though my paint brush didn't slip.

On the right side, both the Boxers (Li Yuan-hung, Yuan Shih-kal) and the Foreigners (Catholics) have an unnecessary border overhang on the left side. On the left side, Sun Yat-sen has the same kind of overhang.

All over the map the outer edges of a lot of territory names end up getting lost due to color changes. This is most evident on the blue-ish palace borders in the city, and the edges of the lanterns on the outside. The subtle outer glow helps, but moving text around would also help.

Mmmmm, for investigation.

Finally, the Eunuchs Fu, Li, and Tsi look weird with the solid vertical, but I don't see any way to fix it without being slammed with lack of continuity.

does it really matter? It fits and is legible.

I was purely referring to the legend, and noting the meridian on the map only inasmuch as its relation to the legend version.

I was pretty sure there were that many bridges, but I couldn't be positive. My problem is that the triple bridges and five bridges don't have the same defined look as the SW Outer Court's bridge has (that one pixel bridge).

With the lovely border indicators you could also complete the circle around the territory. I don't think it's fully integrated into your design as of yet, hence my comments.
