I am writing you this article with my views on the future of conquer club.

Maybe the problem with me, for I and controversial. I love wicked. She’s and good person to chat with either on the forum or otherwise. Her chocolate chip cookies were the best, and only died once when I ate them. I also enjoyed working with Twill in the ad-hoc groups. We worked nights and days without sleep trying to make the colours come out as they were. (Hope you all enjoy those eight player games.) Both Wicked and Twill made what Conquer Club is Today. So exactly, what happened to that favorite club in which I would play games and meet interesting new people? What happened to the “mod squad” which used to be so called an “unbeatable team” now totally divided upon itself?” How this volunteer organization and game fun turned into ill discipline and chaos. It seems the very devil himself his entered into our hearts and made us extremely insane. You might as well merge GD with Flamewars.

The problem is, if we continue to flood the chat rooms and forums, the hate plant will grow, and the only thing we will ever succeed is hardening hearts, and continuous haters, and unsolved problems. The games have been forgotten. The Q and A’s haven’t been answered. I heard no one except AAFitz and a few others try and change the subject in this warzone GD forum. What has happened to you all? Is it me, or have you all turned mad? Is it the same people declaring peace in the world, all of a sudden declaring war in the GD. You all don’t realize the damage you inflict both on the names of Twill and Wicked, and don’t realize the damage you inflict of the site, Conquer Club. itelf. New players will come and leave because they see a bunch of what they seem to perceive as “losers.” fighting around like a bunch of kids.

And I ask all of you to forget the mods, for just long enough to realized ourselves, and how many times we’ve broken the rules just within the past few days just to yell and troll in the forums, defending or attacking or both, hating and nashing of teeth, throwing fits of rage. What happened to you all?

I will say this though, for a peaceful solution to come out, it will be necessary for all sides to declare an armistice. Please stop trolling, arguing, and fighting in these forums.

....but as long as trivial conflicts continue, it will only cause a chain effect of other trivial conflicts and the end result won't be pretty.

In history, both Bridges and Houses have been destroyed, and nothing can ever be the same as it was, but both can be rebuilt, sometimes stronger then before, and I hope and pray we can rebuild this bridge, because everybody had both good and bad points. I know it's hard right know because literally the whole forum world is angry at the situation, from one standpoint or the next, but it's important we learn to forgive and help build people up rather then tear people down.

No, Wicked and Twill did not make CC what it is today. Really, they both were bad mods. The way Wicked was fired was wrong and was at the wrong point. Lack doesn't know when to fire people. *cough*AK_ICEMAN*Cough* Twill is a terrible mod and I'd be glad to see him gone. Really I haven't done much trolling because I don't care. I knew CC was going down under I knew for a while. With the downfall of the Pikachu clan it basically ended. TWill came back, religion, and politics were in every thread, and I retreated to Forum games/ Mafia Games and MSN. (which I got at the time) I knew that the management was bad before. Not Lack, but the mods I knew. With Wicked and Twill on the front, and the rest of the mods doing nothing. It seemed no good decisions were getting done. It was over and now it just shows. Everyone who is basically a friend to me here plays mafia, and that's where I mainly post. I stay here for it and history. I still play risk a bit and will keep on playing, as that hasn't died yet. The forums were already failing. Suggestions unanswered. Cheating reports left untouched until a month later. Issues ignored. Interesting threads locked. And the end of posts counting in the off-topics. It's all been doing downhill, I'm just taking the scenic route.

Says the guy with an obvious hate for the sitting president. In case you are illiterate Wicked had a serious illness and was fired subsequently because of it. Douches that do not read and just want to argue for the sake of arguing make this world a worse place then it already is, do us favor do not breed as you may further dilute the gene pool. As to what has happened here is even before the Wicked persecution and firing Twill has been making horrible choices in regards to the site and decisions without weighing the full ramifications of his actions...

and this is why nobody of merit is taking many of you seriously. foul language, spamming, posting of personal info, flaming, it doesn't raise the level of discourse, it just sways those that were considering your plight, to join the rest of us rational and sensible members of the GD that understand things are done for a reason. perhaps there are reasons that none of us know, and we have to trust them. i was shocked and willing to listen to people rally for wicked, and then it became a spam, flame, potty mouthed, hang twill, F lack, screw andy effort, you lost me. i've contacted wicked, and i have said my peace with her and she knows exactly how i feel about the situation, and sure i understand how she feels slighted. what i don't think many of you understand is, you are not helping the situation, you are swaying people away from your abusive "revolution" and generally making her look bad. people seem to think i hate wicked, and i don't. at the end of the day, she did more for CC than alot of us realize, and it was truly a thankless job. i respect her for all the positive she did, and i think you all demean that with these actions and personal attacks.-0
