Just wanted to point out nice-ly that this is not an endorsement of Christianity over Atheism. Both a true Christian, and a true Atheist know that they are right. He says he accepted Christ. His landlord was a preacher and a veteran as well. They talked alot about God and Christ, and my brother accepted Jesus while he stayed in his landlord's house.

Maybe it wasn't the prayer...but the meal he had that night. Magic Chicken? Or perhaps it was "in the stars"...what did his horoscope say? Or maybe...it was the Leprechauns hearing your cries.

Remember...your belief works both ways. If he later gets shipped to Iraq, it must only mean that your god is punishing you both...having "heard your prayers" the first time.
