Dude, come on... If you build it yourself you can get a decent computer for fairly cheap. And you don't even have to replace everything! Keep the power supply, the HDD, the case, the monitor. Now all you need is a new mobo, video card and processor and RAM. You could maybe even keep your old RAM, depending on how much you have.

I built the one I have right now myself. half of the starting parts were handmedowns from my brother. I've now upgraded everything aside from the case, fans, lights, fan control, ram, and a few odd cables that look spiffy. I just don't feel like spending ANY money right now.
