Aye, but now I'm off to the US, so sadly the IQ average of chatter box will once again drop until I return. Sadly I'm probs not visiting the Deep South, much to my regret, as you'll imagine. But give me a shout if you're Nywere near Maine this summer.

Its an observation based on your stated views that seem to be lifted ( without thought or consideration ) straight from the Sun , given this newsheet ( comic ? ) though popular is perused almost entirely by the least bright members of society , it is reasonable to call the readership thickos.brooksieb wrote:Why am i thick? please, explain....joecoolfrog wrote:It doesnt work and you are thick !brooksieb wrote:Don't call me thick, it works in alot of other places, u will alwais get some one that will use that method regardless, so please don't lai into people calling them thick.comic boy wrote:1) About 500 films before it have explored a similar theme.brooksieb wrote:I watched outlaw, great film. I prefer it to a newspaper, really.
Yeah never read it myself actually, just took a quote from A Bit of Fry and Laurie and kinda figured it's very right wing.joecoolfrog wrote:My business was in the printing trade and the Daily Mail has traditionally been the 'printers 'Snorri1234 wrote:I'm more of a Daily Mail person..

newspaper, consequently I have read it most of my life. It is in fact a decent paper but its editorial stance is fiercely right wing and its important to get some balance by also taking on board more liberal views, which in fact means reading almost anything else
Brooksie I dont want to fight with you but a lot of what you write is whats known as 'popularist ' , thats to say it sounds good at face value but doesnt bear close scrutiny. Normaly it targets peoples emotions and good examples of popularist journalism would be ' 'bring back hanging ' , ' never deal with terrorists ' . ' publish identity of child molestors '.brooksieb wrote:My views straight from the sun? yeah maybe this time but they often say stabbings is done by bad video games like GTA? I don't agree with that, alot of people have done the same as me by copy and pasting from various internet sources and agreed with the views of the source, does that make them thick? in your' mind probably not, maybe they touch down on issues you don't agree with thus making your' view of them as thickos, oh and to clarify these reports of london were actually not from the sun but from various European tabloids.
