New idea for map makers

Do you remember the old Sim city, simple 3D building graphics?

If someone wants to make a fantasy map, can we make a 3D map that looks different from all the 'Flat' maps?

what do you think of that concept?

I'm not sure i'd like a map that looked like sim-city. And i can't really imagine a 3D map really working. But if you can make it work, awesome.

It must be good made before even mentioning it, otherwise all those 3D projects will get banned instantly.

What I'm doing is suggesting ideas to the map making masses.

I won't play 'em (Except for the 'Going Underground map), just suggesting a different take on things.
