The crazy thing is I don't care if they're banned, warned, no action taken etc. However I strongly feel that if someone gets busted for cheating he/she should have to forfeit the games(s) he/she is currently in. Basically be treated the same way as someone who has missed three turns, get auto-kicked from game. What are the odds of this happening? Zero or less than zero?
I moved this to GD since it really is not a suggestion and the form was not filled out. To answer your question, different methods of dealing with multis are being tossed about and a decision may come sooner than people think on this issue.
Beforehand - I always felt that it should just even out. Although recently I'm starting to agree that their accounts should be blocked, forcing them to deadbeat. They could still file an e-ticket, etc. Just their games are blocked.
If found innocent, which I think is very rare, I think the mods should have the ability to give points back. Since it would occur on such a small scale - I doubt it would be much work. Far less than what the feedback system caused them at least.
simplest thing and fairest thing would be to cancel the games. Look at it this way what if you were in a team game with them and had no idea they were multi e's and there armies got turned neutral, they lose, guess what you lose to. Maybe in a singles game this would be fine, only hurt them... Be simpler just do it one way, cancel games, strip there points first time second time block there I/P address. Some people don't really care just keep on getting stripped and doing it again.....
Well put! I was looking at it soley from a single player perspective but team games would be more difficult... If everything would be generalized, then I change my opinion and agree with you, the game should be cancelled. But maybe they would put single player games, and team games in different categories, and treat them differently. Single players might be treated where their armies are turned neutral, and they're expelled from the game, and team games would simly be cancelled. Thanks for opening my view to cover team games, it certainly changes my view,

Canceling games is not the answer. Locking them out is a better answer. Just like when a teammate deadbeats, the other teammate gets his armies. All multis should be forced to dead beat.

That might work as well... Regardless of how it's done... mutis just shouldn't be allowed to finish games!
Good points made by everybody, I didn't think of it from a doubles or terminator perspective. However in a 2 or 3 player game turning their armies neutral works for me. Some "multi" clown using a 2 on 1 tactic in a 3 player game shouldn't be given the satisfaction of victory. Let's face it, you basically have zero chance of winning a game like that. Just my two cents anyway.
I fully agree! If I didn't love CC so much, I would have quit in protest. The fact that multi's get little or no punishment is depressing and it is a major reason that I play very very few, if any, public games. 90% of my games are with fellow XI members, and the rest are games I joined created by trusted honorable players. I still consider it an insult to honest players that these jerks are only given a slap on the wrist.
