Sugg. for Ratings: Effect of receaving the same Tag X times

My suggestion is to program an effect when the same tag is given in the Ratings of somebody X times, for exemple 10 times.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

• Ratings : critics about Tags (not enough usefull because hard to summerize fast)

For exemple, after 10 "Good Teammate" tags, this tag would appear directly on the main profile page of the player, near the Rating Ratio on 5. Negative tags, as "Bad Teammate", should require less occurences for this than good ones. I first tought of something complex as X "Good Teammate" eliminate a "Bad Teammate" on the main page, and the opposite, but I think it could be better to show on the main page when someone received both tags often, even if it is contradictory.

PS : Even though I make this suggestion, I personnally appreciate tags and find them nice. Thanks for their creation !

I have a slight modification, what about having {Number of people that gave you this tag} x {Tag} somewhere on the profile page, because after some time, everyone would have the icons on their profile, and the number would have to be raised.

You're right, concerning this problem. But I would suggest something like :

10 time the same tag x (if more than 50 ratings, number of ratings left, with or without tags)/50 = amount needed to get this tag posted on your main page.

So, if you achieve to get 10 "Good Teammate" tags only after 100 ratings, your not a so Good Teammate...
Same thing with "friendly", etc.

Do many people use the tags? I usually reserve their use for deadbeats or for people I've already rated (so I can submit the form without changing the star rating)

Just post the top 5 or 10 tags for a player. Problem solved

Basically, lack's intent with the tags is to do something with them. I just don't know what exactly.
