Perhaps instead of restriction newbies for this game, why not just give them vanilla or a basic role.

Hm. This game has been in signups for a while.

I might come to your rescue if one of my currents abruptly ends for me.

No, because then people know who is more likely to have power roles. Anyways, if you were referring to me, I'm new to this forum, not to mafia.

Kwanton, I'll put you down as a replacement for now. I'll be sure to encourage people to kill you in your other games, so you'll have time for this one. :P

@ jayfin3: Your last remark shows that you understand the game better than some people already signed up, so I have no problem letting you /in. Did you read some other games on this forum though? I want to be sure you know what you're getting yourself into, so you don't flake halfway if it would turn out you don't like the way people play here.

By basic roles I mant basic power roles. Or Sierra could use this opportunity for a WIFOM.

alright, i'd like to try my hand on some CC mafia, and from what i can tell this is the only game taking signups?
anyways, i see you are picky about who you let play so heres my previous mafia experience:
i have literally played hundreds of games on a chat site i used to frequent. however, it was some pretty basic mafia we played there. mafia, townsfolk and a detective. i have also played and moderated dozens of real life games (one time my brother decided to theme his whole birthday after that... guess who had to moderate it all? yep, me.) again, pretty basic though. however, i have been lurking here for a while now, and also read the complete wikipedia article linked to in wickeds post, so i think i can manage.

You should be able to manage just fine with that kind of experience. :)

I added daydream and jayfin3 to the player list. That leaves 4 spots. I see drake_259, Thezzaruz, Simon Viavant and Spoffin - who have all shown an interest in this game - are playing in Skittles!'s C9 game. If they still want to join this game once that one ends, we'll be good to go.

I'm doing the C9 and the Insomniac one. Once one of those are done I'd gladly join (could join before too but it might not be wise to do too many at the same time tbh).

Still not full?

Hm. You can add me to the real player list then. I've done more than 4 at a time before. Why not? :P

Yay for gimpy's return! :D

I added kwanton and gimpy to the list. Only two more before we can start. If we get enough players soon, we won't be waiting for the C9 game to end of course.
