Nonetheless, I have not seen you persuasively argue that there is any merit to pokeman either culturally or intellectually. I understand comic books being a life-long interest and even something like Legos/Tinker Toys, but japanimation tripe boggles. Convince this "retard" otherwise in an articulate manner.

There needs to be merit? Not everything needs to be intellectual. Sure they may be some things like memory. (For all 493 of them) but the thing is it's mainly fun. I have my fun you have yours. We like different things, you shouldn't say Pokemon is only for 7-10 year olds just because you don't like it. I know many net people over 10 who like pokemon.
