stop CENSORING posts

Post by Environmentalist »

Consolidating threads is censorship:
  • twice now my posts have been buried beneath a pile of so called 'similar' threads. apparently this is a forum policy
Specifics:
  • by bunching them all together you are effectively downplaying the whole idea, foregoing my freedom to post, and making it difficult for it to be recognized.
  • some people seem to think the 'Same Time' game format has been rejected, but i have been through the entire pile on the subject and the majority of respondents are, at the very least, intrigued by the idea.
  • i composed the most comprehensive explanation of the concept and how it could work here at conquerclub, but you may never see it b/c it has nearly 6 pages of incoherent or irrelevant comments that stem from the lackluster and/or confusing attempts to explain the idea and no real discussion whatsoever.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • you won't be putting off a fascist vibe
  • ideas will flow more easily, even old ones will potentially be revived with vigor
  • there will be better opportunity and more potential for quality discussions of ideas
  • you would not be doing something that is entirely unnecessary. i know how forums work. i have done my time as a moderator. you delete old threats, not use them to bury new ones.
