Improved Game Finder

Concise description:

• Don't show duplicate games started by the same person in the game finder

Specifics:

• When someone has 8 games with the same map looking for people, it just means that there is a lot more to scroll through when looking for new games. I suggest that only the first of these 8 games show up, and that when one fills up and starts the next one in this persons list will come up under searches. I think this only should apply to the same map made by the same person. This way only 1 of the duplicate maps will show up, making it far easier to find different games.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

• Easier to search for different maps, instead of scrolling by pages and pages looking for new ones.

The (8) would be how many duplicate games there are, and the \/ could be an arrow you click on that expands and shows the games.

Thats definitely not a bad idea Tom, but i see no reason as to why it shouldn't just show them all straight away.

I mean many people want to join multiple games with the same settings, and if you don't want to play in any of those games it is only an extra one or two rolls of the mouse wheel to go past them....not exactly hard labour is it??

I think more benefit comes out of showing multiple games with the same features than bad, so i say keep it as it is.

exact same thoughts, i would not use it myself but maybe if someone really wanted it they could make a script

this might be good for people who try to just play games against noobs so they can win.

this way, they wont have a choice as to who they verse.

I just thought of this idea, so I'm glad I checked before posting. My twist on it was like an idea above: specifically the "Show All Identical Games Started By The Same Member" button. I just thought it should be a "remove AIGSBTSM" button. Would that be better?

how about its a selectable box in the search form, so if you check it it will post multiple games as a drop down menu, else it will just act normally
