Why is it that everyone can talk about the ethnicity of Obama's family, but any discussion of Palin's family ethnicity either devolves into racist tirades or is attacked as a taboo topic?

Because we made peace with the Indians!

You clearly have never visited the boarder towns around the Pine Ridge reservation.
But if you consider killing off the food supply, forcing people off their land, taking their children away for assimilation, and stealing the natural resources on their land to be "making peace." Well then I guess we have made peace.
But shouldn't Palin be proud that her family could be the first family of Native American ancestry in the white house?
Because ethnic pride will not get you attaboys with the conservatives. There's a lot of deep seated guilt and denial there - makes people uncomfortable. Go figure.
I saw Sarah Palin on the cover of The National Enquirer with a story of her secret love child. He heh... she is a star now... and if this VP thing doesn't work out she can move to LA and make some movies... starring as herself.
Btw... PBS is running a Palin Poll and it's currently tied at 49%.

Who would want to capture the hearts of liberals or feminists anyway? We should be shipping them off to camps, not supporting their ungodly beliefs.
First of all, reading any of the McCain vs Obama drivel is like watching a debate between Tweedledum and Tweedledee (with Beevis and Butthead as moderators). Two sides of the same coin, genius.
Secondly, anyone who could be "inspired" by either Palin or Hillary could also be seduced by Kermit the Frog. I'm afraid to ask, really, but i'm afraid not to ask for fear of what my imagination might conjure up - What do you mean by "Mothers (why capitalized?) and i ? * * shudders in perverse anticipation of something really sick and lame * *

What, but Kermit is such a gentleman, and so accommodating -- he doesn't even have to kneel down.
