We need more game slots

The higher rank I think the more game slots you get.

New recruit and cook:2 slots

Private and Private 1st class:3 slots

Corporal and Corporal 1st class:4 slots

Sergeant and Sergeant 1st class:5 slots

Liutenant and Captain:5 slots

Major and up:6 slots

I know this may stop people from getting premium membership but I think we want more game slots.

Don't think this is a great idea tbh.

I mean if you were a player who played say 8 player games all the time your rank might be going up and down continuously so one week you may be able to have 3 games the next 5 and the next 4, it would vary too much.

I think 4 games for everyone is good enough at the moment, as while still making this game good for free members CC's main aim is to make people buy premium membership and this would prevent that slightly.

Can't see this happening myself and i am definitely not in favour of it, simply because it is too variable.....

what about ppl like me who just flat out suck and are free? if this is gonna happen u need 6 game slots for all ppl

why would you get more game slots for being better??? Don't punish people for sucking! if you were a cook it would make it even harder to get back up because you would have to do it two games at a time. bad idea

I disagree, you can up rank easily with few slots. Mine have been filled up a lot lately, but I still managed to get up 100+ points in 2 days with only one slot to do it.

Speaking as a fellow player and not as a moderator, I think it's clear that this suggestion basically amounts to "can free members ranked at my rank* or above have a couple of extra free game slots ?" ... to which the answer has got to be "no" for the reason you state in the first part of your final sentence**.

* Is that just coincidence ? I think not

** The very fact that just a couple more slots would make a difference to you shows, I would suggest, that the site owner has got the number of slots just right for free members since it leaves you wanting just a little more ...

Absolutely! CC already allows far more for free players than most sites. Be happy with what you have!

Besides, as a PAID member, I don't necessarily want more slots for higher ranks. I want more players AT MY LEVEL! so I can have more nice games!

How about CC could grant previous members a two week grace period to process the payment through paypal.
Last week my membership ran out, so I made payment the day before it would expire, and I guess due to the Canadian dollar falling, I was short 13cents in my paypal account. I immediately transferred the appropriate funds from my bank to paypal. Its my fault in a way by clicking Ok before the funds got to paypal. But the funds had to be there in paypal before I pressed OK, because Salamander is quicker than paypal. I was charged 40 dollars NSF for that transaction.
Once the funds were available in paypal, I went to re new premium again a couple days later, and I did the same thing pressing and clicking OK before realizing the dollar fell again and the price went up due to the conversion. I quickly filled out a ticket and pm'd CC's high authority and thankfully this transaction was canceled.
Now it would be a great service to 3rd time premium members to have the grace period so this doesnt happen to other members who are in tourneys and have been committed for so long.

I remember when there were 10 slots, and about 200 active members, it then it decreased to 5 then to 4. Every decrease is because of the no. of active members.

Lack keeps it at 4 as it is more economically sound

Plus it prevents people who never take a turn from gaining a rank.
