It would be hard to sue conquer club. Hasbro would have to trace lackattack and stuff. I think lack is fairly safe where he is now, and these changes would put him in the clear if he did get sued or anything.

Today truly is a dark day for this site, but at least we are still alive. Hopefully cc can ride out this latest storm, if they do not I know many of our lives will be missing something. I rarely visit this site now but over the last year or so I grew to love it, a sentiment shared I believe by the vast majority of players. We as a site and as a community have evolved and come a long way from our origins that said what the future holds for this site in the context of this latest development is surely a concern for all of us.

I will not be renewing my premium subscription because:

-I like the old feedback system. It was more meaningful and personal than our current system of clicking on stars. I would much rather get an "excellent player" than "5 stars".
-The new classic map is retarded. Ugliest map I've ever seen.
-New lingo is retarded. The soul of the game is gone for me.

Those are my thoughts anyway. I don't want to be seeing maps, lingo or other stuff which hurt my eyes.

My initial reading of the dice rules caused a minor panic attack, but after finding out they just gave a description to each number on the die...

I echo most sentiments:

1) New classic map looks like shit
2) I doubt you had to do this drastic of a makeover to keep out of legal trouble
3) BRING BACK MOTHERF*****G KAMCHATKA! YOU CAN'T COPYRIGHT THAT!
4) AAAAAAGH! CAPS LOCK %#^$@^@~!
5) You *really* needed to talk to the players before doing this
6) We need to redesign the classic map
