All the text needs to be the same size, and you still have some names going in odd directions. It makes the map look messy.
You need to change the neutral countries. How many times does it need to be suggested? Many people seem to hate them.

I like the neutral countries, yes fix the writing it does look messy, and possibly lighten up the area around Vestfall

I think the new look is better. The legend is a big improvement.

Things to still consider:
- Impassable borders need some sort of legend.
- New text is improved, but could maybe benefit from a white outline or something similar. The black is hard to read in some places. Also, why can't you have your font all the same size?
- Can't the neutral territories be completely yellow?

I really think part of the style and look of the map is in the way the neutral territories are, I like it and don't think it should change

You've got to consider those members who don't visit the Map Foundry, and new members as well. If they start a game on this map, they'll be very confused about the neutral territories.

Either it needs to be made more obvious or some explanation given on the map. I don't think yellow borders and transparent territories comes across as neutral. Eastern Russia, without the yellow borders makes more sense. At least it is unobtrusive. These yellow borders draw a lot of attention away from the actual playable map.

I have to agree, that they do indeed seem seperate, and is one of many things that sets this map apart. I think people will realize if there isn't an army shadow or army coordinate on it...it's not playable. I mean, people don't try to take over the oceans in the classic.

I see the neutral territories as seperate.... I just also see them as looking shit. I Dont think they should be the same colour as ocean.

you probably will not like it but i just read this through and really liked the flags for neutral countries. Also i think that you should do what you think looks best its your map you dont have to please everyone

My sugestion is to make neutral territories with only shadow on the borders!
You may think about filling it with a diferent colour from the sea.

I think you'll find that too many people are not happy with the neutral territories. It shouldnt get through to final forge if too many people arent happy with them. You need to address peoples dislikes and concerns and an excuse of "I like it that way" isnt good enough.

I think it looks ok without them, but thats only cos I hated the yellow.
dafranca has a good suggestion about them. I dont think they need to be the same colour as ocean. And the Yellow outline was obtrusive and it took focus away from what could be a good map.

And again I need to mention the army shadows. Make them grey and not 3D.

This map needs to improve playability.

1) Big Continets
1.1) Quantity
I don't think any map need two Big Continets. there are two continets with 9(22% over all) countries.
1.2) Location
It is more playable if the big continet were located at the center of a map, and conected to must of the other continets.
- Big Continet will be the place for the weak player to get stronger.
- Stronger players would go for small and median continets.
1.3) Sugestions
- Devide West Europe into two continets: 6 Contries(Britain Isles & France) 4 Contries(Italy + Corsica/Sardenha + add Cisily)
- Connect Britain to Finland or Lithuania
- Connect North Italy to Bavaria
- Change Romenia from Balkans to West Europe continent
- Disconect Serbia from Romenia
- Disconect Greece from Ottoman Empire
1.4) Bonus Sugestion for changes
- NW Europe 4
- SW Europe 2
- Germany 4
- Austro Hungary 4
- Balkans 2
- Ottoman Empire 3
- East Europe 7

i dont think its big diferens from others country.

Do you want to change borders of germany and austro hungary, these can be posible, he can be biger,if you know have these country must look,please tell me.

I dont want to devide west europe becouse i must give 1 more teritory and these not be good,then we will have 1 bigest Country.

im from balkan and i realy wont to know have to disconect romania from serbia and to put in western europe?
Greece disconect from Turkey why?

the neutral solution is simple.. do what you had originally, a color for neutral.. and you stated they were neutral and not worth anything.. it looks good.
