Asked after the game what went wrong Temple coach Plash Ricrem pointed to San Fran's solid offensive balance and ability to really get out on the fast break, not to mention their tenacious defense and hustle to loose balls. Thus San Fran was able to apply pressure from the start, quickly turning the match into a blowout. He also noted the frustrating inability of his team to execute their offensive sets and conceded they got outplayed in every facet of the game. "It was definitely a good learning experience playing a team as solid as San Francisco. A program like that is what all the Temples of the world aspire to become.
