A lot of people are going to the slug gun primarily due to the fact that a lot of the best hunting near populated areas is classified by the feds as shotgun only; thus the manufacturers giving us the improved abilities with said slug guns and sabot wadding...those damn things are accurate up to 100 yards which is amazing to us old guys....lol.

ps - Just FYI (not being rude)....that nice doub-barrelled beauty below is not a shotgun.....the barrel walls are much too thick and you will note the barrels are rifled.....I believe it may be a .458 magnum or some other elephant gun that kicks like a freaking mule - I would be very impressed if that young lady torched it off as that particular kick scares off most grown manly men....lol
