Newspaper Mafia Late edition, Day four
Earlier today, a local newspaper boy, animorpherv1 had accused Thezzaruz our local Q&A columnist of erasing his fan mail to the paper. The staff was under high tension that morning, because two of our employees cena-rules and Skoffin pulled guns on him, Thezz insisted the only logical culprit at this point would be skoffin, but just then a bullet pierced his body, the police are looking into who fired the killing shot.

Thezzaruz (town Q&A columnist) has been lynched

Scene not in newspaper
After the incident, the three surviving staff members went up to the chief editors office;
the three chattered about their safety at this point.
Cena told the news-head "I'm going to hand in my resignation tomorrow"
The editor in chief / replied "I suppose we all are, I'm going to work on the final issue tonight... "
Skoffin spoke up "The sales due to this incident are better than ever, but the risks are too high."
/ noted, "Hey, that boy over there, I just noticed since there's only three of you, he's not with the paper, who is he?"
Animorph replied "I come over here to pick up the papers to deliver each morning, I just slipped in these past few days."
"Well you're not welcome back, tomorrow's the last anyways, so just go away. You two as well, you two go home, you can come back in the morning, but as for the paper boy, stay away, you're fired. "

The next morning
cena and skoffin were talking about what they were going to do for a job after the paper on the way up the elevator.
"I'm probably going to run for office, as mayor"
"you? I had someone else in mind for the position... As for me, I was thinking of opening an advertising firm."
The door opens, the look at see the editor in chiefs body next to his desk from the elevator, "We've got to call the cops!" says cena as he pushes the elevator button, But skoffin pushes him out with a gun to his back, "It was you? please let me go, I won't tell anyone, I'll even give you money." "always giving bribes, Cena? It's fine, I'll have plenty of money when I put 100+ page adverts in MY new paper." She shoots cena in the head.
On the way out of the building she runs into ani, snooping around again...

Newspaper Mafia, Special endgame edition
Today the scene was chaotic, as it turned out, a young crazed paperboy was responsible for a good deal of the killings, he had come into the late head's office and fired at him, our political anylist Cena tried to intervene, but was shot as well.
As the young boy made his escape, he suddenly came to a realization as to the severity of his action and shot himself. Finally putting a tragic end to these crimes.
The paper in now under new management, and we are replacing the staff with plenty of reformed criminals, We are glad to bring to you loyal readers the latest, truthful news, with plenty of censorship!

I can't believe it. When I first saw the setup I was giving few chances to town considering the amount of scum, but that was without counting Thezz's pretty powerful role... Allowing town to make a comeback, but that was without counting on the insane cop who not only caused a townie to be lynched to prove his friggin sanity even though he was told by several different people he was insane and I had been the sane cop, but also handing the game effortlessly to scum "just in case he was paranoid"

Great role. Too bad I messed up the first night, should have asked for sane cop and not just cop. Would have made a lot of difference.

When the godfather died I did not like our odds, in addition the all the PR's town seemed to had I thought we were done. When it came down to me I figured Thezz would almost certainly be on me and that I needed one hell of a fake claim to survive, I couldn't think of one though. Heh. I figured I could likely get animo on my side and rely on that and then work on cena. Seems I didn't need to. This feels like a hollow victory to me. Cena, did you have any reasons for voting Thezz or did you leave it up to chance?

Near the end, I was thinking "wait, is it Skoff?" if for no other reason then randomness. I t was tough, but I eant with Thez only because he was my gut suspicion.
