Save the Planet? HA!

Post by Robinette »

So I keep hearing from people that we need to save the planet... HA!
Many of these people wan't OTHER people to do something...

Oh sure, they recycle their aluminum cans, and even some plastic,
but are they willing to spend a little extra to help the planet? many are not.
Let's think about this in the simplist of terms... your clothes.
The fact is, many tree huggers buy their clothes at Walmart...
Walmart, where green is measured only at the register, and not with the products.

But I just found a place to buy earth friendly jackets...
http://artinresonance.com/ecoshop.html

Eco fleece is made from recycled plastic bottles, roughly 28 bottles makes one jacket. The fleece is of the highest quality. All the dyes used are non toxic procion…
Supporting earth friendly products is easy when you get to look good and feel so good in them!

I ordered 2 of them... and I am a CONSERVATIVE! 8-)

So what do the rest of you think about all this?
Anybody else willing to support this company?

Real Goods and Seventh Generation, not to mention Serv ( a Christian based group) are all good sources as well.

The process to produce one yard of Eco fleece produces the same amount of carbon emissions as driving a V8 pickup truck 25000 miles.

I think.

I thought most fleece was made from empty plastic bottles that were shipped to China.

We just need to understand that we've doomed the planet and whether we go to hell or not we're eventually going to burn in this oven anyways.

Might I recommend checking out bamboo clothing? It's the softest thing ever, I think you'd like it.
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.
