2 questions on doubles / triples games scoring

1. At what point of the game (Start or end) are your points worked out from your overall score

2. if you play a game with partner are your points worked out on mean figure based on both scores divided by opponents mean scores?

if so, am i right in thinking that a highly ranked player is better off latching onto a real P*ss poor player for a doubles partner, helping him/her through the game just to get better points overall?

I believe that the score calculation is done from your score at the end, don't know for certain though.

And I thenk they just add your score with you partners score then divide by the other teams total. So bascially yes, it would be better pointwise to play with a muhc worse person, although there is the danger of them being a shtty player...
