i played at a place that worked like that, it was lame, the trend became the 'suicidal second' where once it got down to 3 or 4 players they would suicide into people to ensure that they would gain points and not lose points, kinda ruined ALOT of games.

I agree! It might be a cool feature. Right now, it's pretty easy to suicide into a lower rank to ensure that the higher rank is the one that wins, so you don't lose as many points.

although it would be really cool i think to have this, say in an 8-way game 1st gets 50%, 2nd gets 30%, 3rd gets 20% of the points... I could forsee this having ALOT of abuse, you think its bad when people help there friends win for points, you will see alot of people helping there friends get first with knowing that you will still get points for 2nd...

In escalating games, it is very possible that everyone is killed in the same round. So now it's up to chance whether or not you come in 2nd or 4th. In freestyle escalating speed, often the WORST players are killed last in a sweep simply because they have ended their turn and can't steal on the active players, who in turn could steal a kill on teh ended players.

At the end of the game, if your army color isn't on the board, you've been eliminated. Play terminator if you want points for not winning.

no, no, no, no!!! don't you know that the generation we are dealing with does not beleive in working for things they earn? they don't keep scroes in sports leagues and they all are "winners", they all get to graduate top of their class to avoid lawsuits by angry parents, they all get straight A's in college using extra credit assignments when they get a B or lower, they all expect to make 300K as soon as they graduate, and they all end up back at their parents house wondering why in the hell they aren't as successful as all the trophies and diplomas in their bedroom would lead them to believe!!!...-6cd

Chances are that they had the least fun game out of all the players, so ought to get some kind of reward for spending their time in such a fruitless fashion. Right?


Also, one April Fool's Day, Lack ought to right this site so that for 24 hours the first eliminated player of any game (i.e. the loser) gets the points. That'd be hilarious.

Could be an option in the game settings, wouldn't make this a regular thing.
