And more importantly, did not care that it might be abused. Hell, even DM figured it might be abused hence why he edited it out after a few hours. The mods took a few days to even notice, but nooooo let's just ban him because we don't like him.timmytuttut88 wrote: What problem would occur if someone said to post their number on here and I did? That's not an answer.clapper011 wrote:wow......LOL what is it with all of you tonight? king achilles already answered you all. Just because you didn't like the answer, or worst case , not understand the answer is still no reason to continue. You asked, and got an answer.
Fantastic... Now, explain to me how he broke the rules, please.king achilles wrote:Dancing Mustard was forum banned for 1 month for posting someone's phone number, which is considered a personal information.

Well then you won't mind sending us the thread which states you can't post someones info with their consent. He already explained it right, so you won't mind copying it and pasting it right here.clapper011 wrote:wow......LOL what is it with all of you tonight? king achilles already answered you all. Exactly. King achilles posted, but nowhere did he come even close to giving us answer. To remind you, the question is "What rules did DM break?" We pointed out that posting someone's personal information is not in and of itself against the rules, only when it's in a flame. Also the fact that he deleted it afterword. And that the person gave him consent to do it.F1fth wrote:Exactly. King achilles posted, but nowhere did he come even close to giving us answer. what if someone tells you to post there picture? Apparently that warrants a 1 month ban.clapper011 wrote:if you are posting a picture of yourself it is not. It is only if you are posting someone elses.... and it should be posted in here :

Take into consideration:TeeGee wrote:My take on it is that there doesnt have to be a written rule, it should fall under common sense.
Do we really need to have everything written or typed? If we needed that then I guess the list of rules and guidelines would make a 200 page book.

It's common sense? Someone asks you post their personal information. There is no rule against it, and the only person it could possibly harm is the person who ask you, but obviously they are OK with it. So where's the problem? No problem? I thought so. So common sense dictates that banning DM was a mistake. Common sense dictates that the mods should at the very least revoke the decision if not apologize.TeeGee wrote:My take on it is that there doesnt have to be a written rule, it should fall under common sense.

If it's going to result in a ban, then yes, yes it should.TeeGee wrote:My take on it is that there doesnt have to be a written rule, it should fall under common sense.

They're not going to tell us. Know why they aren't going to tell us? Because it's not against the rules. Nowhere is it written that it's against the rules. They can't give us an answer, because their pride won't let them admit that they banned DM for no fucking reason. They are going to beat around the bush, lock our threads and just do what ever they can to try to make this blow over.F1fth wrote:WHY. IS. IT. AGAINST. THE. RULES. IT. MAKES. NO. Good luck. It took us ages just to get an actual definition of what spam means, despite them locking threads daily for being "spam".F1fth wrote:QF actual T.hecter wrote:They're not going to tell us. But I'm not going to let it blow over. I think it's absolute bollocks that I'm being criticized for asking the administration to provide an actual decent reason for banning someone and I'm not going to stop asking until I get an answer.
