Let me spell this out for you as clearly as I can...clapper011 wrote:well, sorry F1fth, but I am not admin. And the reason for the 5 days delay was b/c twill had gone and ka was discussing with us the best course of action.

You just said he was discussing with you guys what the best course of action would be. Not only that, but you've been going around making mod edits for a while now due to containing personal information, so clearly you know something. Explain it to us. Provide us with some evidence.clapper011 wrote:how about, asking admin? As this went above my head in the ranks........ So no need to yell at me for something I have not control over hecter.

Well, I was hoping an admin would read my posts since they were taking the time to lock them, but should I PM them? Do you honestly think it will work even if I presented a courteous, reasonable, and sufficient case (i.e. that he broke no explicit nor implied rules) to revoke the decision?clapper011 wrote:how about, asking admin? us as in the Team CC, I did not have any advice to give him, and there fore lackattack gave him the advice.hecter wrote:You just said he was discussing with you guys what the best course of action would be. You're not trying to help at all! All you've said so far is "I don't know anything, I'm just some kind of puppet for these guys." I'm only asking for one thing, one tiny little thing, and that's where it states in the rules that apply to this forum where we can't post personal information, a rule which you've, many times in the past, enforced.clapper011 wrote:and i realize that , but i am trying to help. but I guess i wont bother , since i don't seem to be doing any good. Now with that said, I will direct all of you with questions, to forward them to
king achilles, lackattack, or AndyDufresne. Thanks.

You could PM them. The people locking your posts have been volunteer moderators, not administrators.F1fth wrote:Well, I was hoping an admin would read my posts since they were taking the time to lock them, but should I PM them? So this is a NEW rule that hasn't yet been exstablished and is being WORKED on. Well way to go mods! This clearly violates the Ex Post Facto Laws. What are ex post facto laws you might ask?nightstrike wrote:You all have been asking for clearer rules and guidelines to go by, and you WILL be getting them. We moderators have been working on writing and polishing them for several weeks now, and they will be released soon. The new clearer rule regarding personal information was already included in it. It reads:
Don't ever post personal information of other users. Anywhere. Ever. Even if they already posted it somewhere else. This includes posting personal information about a CC user on another site, you will be held accountable here.
At the time this "crime" was committed this "law" was not yet updated. Therefore Mustard is not guilty case closed. But since this is a private entity the mods can do as they wish and turn this into a nazi dictatorship and have clapper and nightstrike as the gestapo! I also love how any thread that is against the mods is now automatically "trolling" and is locked.answers.com wrote:Are statutes that make an act punishable as a crime when such an act was not an offense when committed.
Yes lets send an e-ticket and not get a response in weeks! How about we cause havoc and get a response now!The Fuzzy Pengui wrote:You could PM them. And yes, it could help to PM them, but an e-ticket is normally the way to go. But presenting a clear case, in a professional manner, could reverse a decision.
Hope that helps
Now now, I'm sure we'll get a response in about a month or so about how we were right and they were wrong...timmytuttut88 wrote:Yes lets send an e-ticket and not get a response in weeks! Ok, but my guess is the response will be more bannings.timmytuttut88 wrote:Yes lets send an e-ticket and not get a response in weeks! I honestly can't believe how incredibly ridiculous this is.hecter wrote:Now now, I'm sure we'll get a response in about a month or so about how we were right and they were wrong...timmytuttut88 wrote:Yes lets send an e-ticket and not get a response in weeks! Yes, well would you sending the quote where you specifically say "you cannot post personal info even if the owner of the personal info says you can". Since if your so confident about it, it must have been said right?Night Strike wrote:Also, DM had received numerous warnings regarding the posting of personal information. And as you failed to quote here, warnings by mods are supposed to be heeded as if lack had given it himself. DM failed to heed those warnings and received a vacation.
I would, but I enjoy making you guys look bad way too much. You might not realize it, but my criticism of this site is actually helping you realize how bad the forum guildlines are! And now they are being updated which is something im happy about.Night Strike wrote:By the way, if you don't like this perceived "private nazi dictatorship", you don't have to stay.
