USMC battle in Mex/Amer War " The Halls of Montezuma"

Have a map of the Halls of Montezuma when the US Marines Lost 90% of its officers and NCO's during the Mexican American War. This is where the blood strip was earned on the NCO & Officer Dress Blue uniforms known around the world as the US Marine Uniform. Also noted in the Marines hymn Opening Line "From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli. "
